MerchantResolve Platform ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using our dispute resolution service.
1. Data We Collect
When you submit a dispute case, we collect: your name and contact details (email, phone number, country); order information (order number, purchase amount, card last 4 digits); a description of your dispute and any supporting files you upload; technical data (IP address, browser type, language preference, approximate location derived from IP). We do not collect full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to: review and process your dispute case; contact you regarding the status and outcome of your case; communicate with the relevant merchant on your behalf; comply with legal obligations; prevent fraud and abuse of the platform.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing personal data is: (a) your explicit consent, given when you check the GDPR consent box in the submission form; (b) legitimate interest in facilitating dispute resolution services.
4. Data Retention
We retain your case data for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is permanently deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Your Rights

All data is transmitted over HTTPS with 256-bit TLS encryption. Access to case data is restricted to authorized team members involved in resolution. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
